Laal Pencil
Directed by Manav Kaul
Based on a Korean novel, this poignant tale is about a young school girl’s new found stardom ever since she mysteriously starts writing beautiful poetry. It’s not her but a magical red pencil that is doing the trick. The young protagonist’s finely etched inner struggle deals with her need for acceptance weighed against her natural instinct to be honest and upright and forms the gripping core of this production.

Monkey Business – A Karadi Tale
Directed by V. Balakrishnan
A first time ever collaboration with Karadi Tales – Monkey Business is a rollicking ride through the ‘Junglee’ world of humans and mad monkeys who are almost human. Through Taklu’s tantrums, Metro’s madcap antics and Chaklu’s charm, children know the importance of being true to themselves instead of following the crowd.
