Two Blind Mice
Directed by Chandan Roy Sanyal
An adaptation of scene 1 of Samuel Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot”, Vladimir and Estragon wait under a tree for a person named Godot. This tragi-comedy reflects the world view of the 1950’s and the philosophical vacuum that existed in the aftermath of World War 2. Beckett’s renowned play is made fun and accessible to youngsters, who connect with its nonsensical topsy-turvy illogicality.
