HCTF 2014 was inaugurated on October 13th at Hotel Taj Deccan, by Chief Guest – Dr. K.V Ramana Chary, Advisor to the Govt of Telangana – Cultural, Tourism, Endowments, Youth & Media Affairs, Special Guest – versatile & multi-lingual film star – Mr. Sundeep Kishan and Guest of Honour – Miss Malavath Poorna, a mountaineer, the youngest girl/individual ever to climb Mt. Everest and broke the world record at the age of 13.

An amateur archaeologist, The Kid is dumped yet again into a dustbin by bullies. In the dustbin, he meets a Banana Peel and an Apple Core, who warn him of imminent danger. But when his favorite teacher is replaced by a substitute of an alien origin, our hero must fight the danger before it’s too late.

Romeo & Juliet – No Strings Attached

Set in a puppet theatre, 4 puppets break off their strings after their daily show and perform their own version of the Bard’s play. The version they play out is irreverent, tongue-in-cheek, replete with pop-culture references, Bollywood and inherent Indian sensibilities.
‘Romeo and Juliet – no strings attached’ is also the Winner of the Hindu Metroplus Playwright of the Year Award – 2012, which is a nationwide competition that draws hundreds of entries from all over India.

In this epic drama, Lord Krishna’s brother Balarama wants his daughter Sashirekha to marry his sister Subhadra’s son Abhimanyu. Narada plays spoilsport and Sashirekha’s mother plans to get her married to Duryodhana’s son. Abhimanyu confides in Ghatodgaja about his predicament. Ghatodgaja vows to help Abhimanyu and arrives in Dwaraka and using his magical powers unites the lovers against all odds.
